On development, the Vespa Super undergone several design changes were made in order to win the competition with Japanese motorcycles product at that time and avoid market saturation. The design changes are contained in the Vespa Super namely discoloration rubber handgrip and rubber trim tepong were initially gray in Super output in 1966 and 1968 and then change the color to black until the end of the production of Vespa Super.
